My own Yoga practise

2009 – current
I have a steady practice which comes very intuitive. That means that one day I keep it at some simple stretches and a sweet long savasana or Yoga Nidra meditation. Other days I challenge myself with a more strength building practice.

The dept of my practice is in the consciousness I am able to bring into my practice, rather than the extremity of the asanas I perform. Inversions and strong arm balances are just not my thing.

Over the years I practised at different Yoga schools. Below are the main ones listed:

  • Iyengar Yoga at Iyengar Yoga Institute in Amsterdam, level I, II and III classes
  • Hatha Yoga at Yoga Kamala in Amsterdam, beginners and intermediate courses
  • Slow Flow at De Nieuwe Yogaschool in Amsterdam
  • Hatha Yoga, online classes, Stephan Beitler , beginners and intermediate classes
